Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a very old form of martial art practiced in China for several centuries. It is designed to enhance the energy flow inside the body. Its main focus is on form and movement. Each movement is felt and practiced in a slow and gentle way. Tai Chi develops flexibility, strength and stamina levels with minimal impact on the body.

Tai Chi helps with balance and dexterity as it builds a stronger interconnection between the body and mind. The technique is helpful for those suffering from rigid joints. Tai Chi does not have a direct focus on self-defence or attack its main function is to distribute internal energy through the body, working the primary joints and muscles, through movements and breathing. Those skilled in Tai Chi firmly think the exercises will maintain wellness within the body.

All are welcome. Come and try it to see how it will improve your Wellness.

Tuesdays from 6pm - 7pm
